About David Schmier

Prior to creating the GetHired system, David spent over 15 years as an executive-level manager at major companies where he was responsible for hiring and managing hundreds of staff. In the process, he learned exactly what works and what doesn’t work for job finders.  As the former Director of Interactive Marketing at AOL, Senior Vice President at the Sterling Group, and Head of Production for Mattel Toys, David learned the intricacies of hiring in the corporate environment.

In 2001, David decided to share his valuable knowledge and insights with all job-finders. The result was GetHired, a highly effective system of job-finding techniques and strategies. Since then, David has helped job-finders throughout the U.S. and all over the world land the positions they want, even in the current tight market. He’s been featured in over 40 major U.S. Newspapers such as the Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, and has appeared on over 250 syndicated radio and television news programs across the country.
